Obsidian Reverie

From deep within comes forth energy that is the soul of the earth. Movement of the liquid earth or lava across the ground surface is depicted by dark clay ribbons on this piece. The sixteen tiles are made of white stoneware applied with three different glazes and mounted on a wood backing. The ribbons are unglazed gray stoneware.
